ABOUT THE AUTHOR

 

Cherry is the daughter of a single mother who told her she could do whatever she put her mind to. Forced to read aloud from the age of five created a love for words and a hobby of writing that wouldn’t truly reveal itself until many years later.

Cherry lives in Charlotte, North Carolina, and has a career in banking and finance. But not even a Fortune 500 company could keep her from writing. Transitioning notebooks of poems and songs into characters and stories birthed her debut novel A Little Bit of Tail.

In her novels Cherry combines real life situations, hard choices, and life-changing decisions with her down-home sense of humor and dry wit. “I want my readers to laugh, cry and relate to these stories and characters, but most importantly…I want them to learn something. I write stories that show my readers how to bounce back from the pain we sometimes have to endure in life to grow.”

The proclaimed #QueenOfThatBounceBack has come up with sharp and fresh ways to shine light on the secrets and topics she says “old folks from the south would tell you to take to the grave.” Ultimately her goal is for God to get the glory. Cherry wants to take her readers up, down and around…so buckle up and enjoy the ride.
